This is a boat i tried to make. I like the way it came out except the paddles came out way too circular. I think the outline actually came out really good just a little messy. Thats what i expected because this was my first experience with this. If i did this again I would take my time, i felt like i had to rush and get it done quickly but really i had alot more time than i rushed myself into thinking i had.
Selfies are more of an informal self portrait, meant to be silly and not taken seriously. Usually are taken by the person themselves and is not a profession picture like a self portrait is. I think selfies are cool, but not to be taken seriously by any means. As shown in my selfie with matt, they're a fun picture to take. I tried to get a straight picture of me, and a goofy picture and I'm glad with the outcome. I picked my Instagram account to show an informal picture of me because people know it's mine and I am able to be identified when people are looking at it. That picture is also my best one, simply because its something i enjoy doing it.
This is a book cover based off a picture I took. The original picture featured just 2 masks but I had the intention of dimming the background and adding in spooky colors of infection. I was able to use a forest picture in black and white in the background and dolls behind the vignette. I like the way the red really brings out the horror in the image. If i couldve done something differently i wouldve used more props on the original image and added more of a bloody depth to them. I was able to come out with the image i was hoping for and i am glad it turned out that way. Even better than i expected.
Depth of field is the distance between the nearest and furthest objects that have a specific focus point no matter the depth of the image. Aperture has an affect on the lighting and shift of focus on the camera. They relate because they work together to create a point of focus in a picture. In my pictures the depth is varied by close up focused images, focused in the middle and where a specific object pokes out, and the distance such as the sunset picture a further offset focus in the depth of field. Depth of field is one of my person favorites because it shows more focus than other pictures and you have to do more to the picture to make it look better. There's always more room for improvement when focusing on a specific area.
