My favorite project was the Photo A Day. It forced me to take pictures that I typically wouldn’t take and I had to do this often which I personally feel like helped lead me to be a better photographer. I grew the most overall by doing the logo project, where I am really interested in making logos but I am not too comfortable with using Illustrator. It took a lot of time to achieve something good, and I had a lot of growth getting to learn Illustrator and transferring it to Photoshop. The two platforms are very powerful together. Thankfully classmates helped guide me when I was creating some. I used previously learned skills on the CMYK project. I had to use color skills, masking skills, sizing and background lense tools to make my picture become what it eventually did in the final product. My kaleidoscope project differentially best portrays me the best as an artist because I like to use vibrant colors and I like when there are many focal points. Overall that image came out very good in my opinion, I really like how there's so much going on yet it doesn’t look messy. If I could offer any feedback I would have liked to have more double challenges because I had the most fun trying to take realistic pictures of the lizard. Using that project as an example, art has impacted my life by forcing me to take pictures of things I wouldn’t usually look twice at. I like how there’s a different steps of taking the pictures then editing them and shots that look better unedited may not be your best shot once you are done editing all that were taken.
The second Tangerini's trip was a bit colder, and different! Maybe by the next trip the new farm stand will be completely done! Stay tuned...
This is my submission for the student handbook, I used many different styles all together and I made up some sort of creature to go on the back maybe to inspire a new mascot due to the restriction of the Mohawk.
Cyan-Magenta-Yellow-Key (Black) project, I took 4 selfies using photobooth and I was able to use a step by step process. The trouble i had was getting my black shirt to cooperate with the colors, but I did the best I could. If I could do this again I would wear a blue or red shirt.
